Salvador Romero loves to carve owls. He finds the material when he walks the grounds near his Cochiti Pueblo home. When he sees a stone that tells him the spirit of an owl is inside, he takes it home and carves until the parts that are not an owl have all been removed. This owl is a substantial 5” tall by 1 1/2” by 2 1/2”
