Carved by Sammy Smith (dec) from pipestone and inlayed turquoise eyes with jet pupils in a style known as “live eyes.”

ZuniLink acquired this nicely carved work of art in 2007 directly from Sammy Smith at the Gallup, NM store that carried his carvings. Sammy Smith was there in person at the time.
