Additional Info

A circular hole in the side of the bowl allows the fetishes to be fed from time to time. This bowl was created with crushed turquoise over the exterior by the grand-daughter of Teddy Weahkee. With turquoise prices on the rise, it is rare to see a pot slipped with real crushed turquoise.

Moreover, the buyer of this imposing piece of Zuni culture acquires both a work of pottery art and six (6) hand-carved creatures representing the directions they protect. A single eagle carving sits inside the bowl.
