This raven fetish carving is one of Salvador Romero’s latest releases. It was “released” from the stone its spirit was captive in. Soon it will find a home in some collector’s flock. It is sleek and dark like the life-size bird it emulates.
The stone was found by Salvador on the ground near his Cochiti Pueblo home. These stones are often washed down from melting snow and transported by spring rains to lower ground. This elegant bird is 2” high by 6” long by 3/4”
