Debra Gasper is the daughter of Dinah Gasper and Peter Gasper Sr.
Dinah was the sister of Lena Boone and the daughter of Edna Leki, who was the daughter of Teddy Weahkee.
So, while these are simple carvings, they come with a long legacy of Zuni tradition.
