This malachite frog was carved by Debra Gasper, Zuni, who added an offering of shell arrowhead and bits of coral and turquoise.

One doesn’t find much carved product in malachite because it is dangerous with toxic carving dust.

Debra Gasper is a 3 generational descendant of the Teddy Weahkee family of Zuni carvers, giving her an impeccable pedigree.
