Calvin Begay Navajo watch bracelet with corn row inlay. 6 1/2" #MR48
Native American Navajo jewelry watchband by Calvin Begay
Cornrow inlay gives this Native American watch bracelet special value. Cornrow inlay is so named because the 3-dimensional effect of the inlay resembles kernels on an ear of corn. Hallmarked as “TSF” (Touch of Santa Fe), “Calvin” (on clasp) and “Plummer” on both segments hinged to the watch. All of which signifies that this was a Calvin Begay design with Plummer as the lapidarist and created in the TSF studio in Gallup, NM. Acquired at TSF in 2006.
