Jeremy Lucero, Santo Domingo, is responsible for the stunning inlay of turquoise, jet and silver on both sides of this white marble American bison-buffalo plus a heart line on one side..

Both initials are signed to underside of base.

We acquired this splendid combination of carving and inlay at a pueblo feast day in 2007 when the carver was still living.

Inlay by Jeremy Lucero of Santo Domingo Puelo, also known as Okey Owingoe. Splendid work that compliments the inspired carving by the late Sammy Smith.
